The Pro-Ject Tube Box SE is a cost effective way to achieve audiophile-quality amplification and RIAA equalization, from a pair of ECC83 triode tubes for moving coil or moving magnet phono cartridges with 60db gain (MC). The heavy duty metal case shields the internal electronics from both vibration and electromagnetic interference while providing a compact layout space for the discrete dual-mono circuitry. Three selectable impedance settings are provided for moving coil cartridge optimization and a subsonic filter provides attenuation of low frequency noise and rumble. A highly stable and robust outboard power supply is included for superior audio performance.
